Four Horsemen Announce Symbiotech Tygos and Tygolith

The Four Horsemen have planned a new line of action figures that were borne out of Fantastic Exclusive – it’s the Symbiotech line, featuring a 4-inch scaled figure (the smaller one shown) with a larger figure paired with it. The line will also feature compatibility with the Glyos joint system, meaning they’ll also work with the Four Horsemen’s recently announced Outer Spacemen line.

As promised, exclusive to all of you FANtastic FANatics (but feel free to re-post these wherever you want), it’s TYGOS & TYGOLITH!!

These two guys will be the first releases for Symbiotech, and if we can work it out, we may release a second Pygma and Goleth pair at the same time to create the first wave!

We’re extremely excited about the new Symbio-Lock articulation we’ve put into Tygos! He has ball & socket joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees, and ankles!!

The back-packs and other fittings on the character’s armor are compatible with Onell Designs: Glyos pop & play system!

Not only that, but the shoulder joints have also incorporated the Glyos build system into the ball & socket joint which will allow customizers a new level of interchangeability!!

Check out the photos, let us know what you think, and if you’re at Comic Con, please be sure to come by booth #4045 to see the original, non-updated prototypes of three more Symbiotech: Pygma/Goleth pairs!

  1. wow, those look very cool!!!

wish the big guy (Tygolith, I assume) had better hip articulation but it’s not a deal killer.

get more pics Ron and Sandman!

  2. I don’t mind the loss of articulation if the price is still good. I mean, essentially, it is supposed to be a driver/vehicle toy line, right? This set looks amazing and though I never really was fond of little Tygos’ design, seeing him in 3-D has completely changed my mind. The joint setup sounds fantastic on the little guy, too.

So what do you guys think? Do they lock back to back or how does he fit onto Tygolith? I’m super-excited about this line!

  3. Oh, looks like the Horsemen already answered on Fanex:

“Actually, he does – with an add-on part or two not shown here…

Most will be rider/ridee combos – some with a few twists thrown in.

    -FH-”

    Awesome!

  4. Sorry, I didn’t toss in the full quote. Someone was asking if they didn’t connect anymore.
