We won’t question it anymore. Fwoosher trs has the magic hook-up. He’s back with first looks at Green Lantern Classics series 1, which he’s not expecting to see more of until after Thanksgiving.
Here’s some interesting tidbits:
- The packaging is a bit larger than the standard DC Universe Classics packaging – that applies to all the figures, not just the oversized ones like Mongul and Low / Maash.
- Speaking of Low and Maash, it looks like there will be packaging variants, one for each of them – trs got the Maash variant. I’ll guess they’re a 50/50 split.
- Some of the figures look to have double-jointed limbs. I’d seen auction pics showing Black Hand with elbows and knees and Abin Sur with knees. Looks like Manhunter has double knees too.
- The 3D glasses are a cross-promotion for the Kids WB website, for a game called Green Lantern: Emerald Adventures. If you can’t wait to play the game (for which a browser plugin is needed), they provide a downloadable guide to construct your own 3D glasses.
Do you think we will get these by december?
I have a feeling these will start trickling in on December and be out in full force by January. Man, TRS has some good DCUC hookups.
NEXT YEAR?SNIFF
These are looking awesome! I’m excited for em.
I am definitely seeing double knees on Black Hand and double elbows on Abin Sur. Not really interested in the characters (and I really like the DCD Black Hand despite the limited articulation), but I could definitely be tempted to pick them up given the improved articulation models.
They can take there time coming out. I still need to complete the Ultra Humanite wave.
I agree Jason, after a bit of drought in the middle of the year 2 waves of DCUC and a GL wave for the remainder of the year can be expensive! Especially now that some stores have upped the price to $15.99.
kyle rayners construct is awesome hopefully they will make more intersting consruct concepts like the sniper rifle for john stewart and others
