Don’t blame Digital River – by “vendor,” Mattel means the factory that was responsible for manufacturing and packaging the Preternia Disguise He-Man, not the oft-maligned company responsible for taking and fulfilling orders on the MattyCollector.com site.
I actually would prefer if they not obscure the view of the figure with these stickers, so this is win-win for me.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR CLUB ETERNIA SUBSCRIBERS
When you get your February Club Eternia shipment, be sure to look inside for a “The Powers of Grayskull” sticker! It was intended to be on the package for Preternia Disguise He-Man, but due to a vendor error the sticker was left off.
To ensure the figure is complete, we’re sending a sticker you can apply yourself. It will be shipped loose along with all of the February Club Eternia items (Preternia Disguise He-Man, Bow, Shadow Beast, and the Etheria Map) so don’t forget to look for it inside the box!

The next time someone asks Mattel a question I’d like to find out whether or not they own their own factories. They often blame the factory for mistakes but in October of 2009 Mattel got a special deal with the government because:
“Mattel says its situation is unique because it owns its production factories outside the U.S. and can do the required safety testing there.”

This has been bugging me for a long time and I would love to learn the truth, but since Mattel PR has ignored every e-mail I’ve sent asking about the situation maybe someone who regularly gets questions answered can try to find out the truth.
