Mattel announced at their Mattypalooza panel yesterday that Club Eternia would continue and that they’d be adding even more Masters of the Universe Classics figures to the store via the 30th Anniversary figures. So in addition to Bubble Power She-Ra and the Windraider this year, He-Man fans will still have more figures to buy outside of the “all-in” subscription.
I’m pressed for time to get back to the show floor, so here’s the pics!
I added one more Windraider shot after they turned him around, but here’s the full set of them. Figure will not be included.
I didn’t get a lot of pictures on the bottom row, where the 30th Anniversary figures were placed. The create-a-character contest winner will be one of these figures, I believe 6 in total, and after Photog there’ll be 4 figures inspired by the Four Horsemen and the extended Masters team.
Masters continues to impress, and getting the rights to Filmation opens the door for a lot more to come. The inclusion of the Star Sisters in the Club Eternia sub isn’t exactly a plus for me though, so knowing they’re coming puts a tiny dent in my desire for it. But I’ll probably buy it anyways – who am I trying to kid? Also, please note: Bubble Power She-Ra is not part of the Club Eternia sub.
But honestly, Mattel – how can you announce Fisto without announcing Jitsu with your next breath. You got it right with Hawk and Dove, but have failed miserably here! 🙂
