ThreeA Toys Halo Figures On Sale Now

I just bought a Halo figure from 3A Toys for $170 (list price is $200 but I am a 3AA member and get a discount) and I haven’t played a Halo game in years. I guess I’m pretty enamored with the Spartan armor – I started with McFarlane and got mesmerized with Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai Spartans. And now 3A had to come along and feed my addiction with some 1/6 scale versions. Let’s face it – with fiber optic lighting, magnetized armor and weapons, and some kick-ass sculpting and paint apps, I really didn’t stand a chance.

Commander Carter will be available at specialty retailers, but the Spartan MKV Commando will only be available at bambalandstore.com for a limited time – that’s the one I picked up.

  1. Great site and thanks for the heads up regarding the HALO line by 3A. Quick question – how do I become a 3A member to secure the discount? Thanks and keep up the excellent work!

  2. hi HaloFan – 3AA is something that is offered for a limited time close to the start of each year and provides a membership discount on 3A purchases for that year through bambalandstore.com. it also applies for in-person purchases when 3A has presence at shows like San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con. there’s a cost for the membership, but it usually comes with some 3A gear (they’ve done t-shirts, hats, and messenger bags in the past) as well as an exclusive figure for that year. I’ve subscribed the past couple of years and I’ve made up the cost with the discount on my other purchases.

unfortunately, you can’t pick up a membership outside of the order window at the start of the year, but if 3A Halo is a hit and you think you’ll be buying 3A toys in the future, I’d highly recommend becoming 3AA in 2014.
