Last Day – Sign Up for the Fwoosh’s Secret Summer Custom Swap
My apologies to Thwiptster – have had this in the queue but with travel have not been able to post. Today is the deadline to sign up for Fwoosh’s Secret Summer Custom Swap. This is in the same vein as the Secret Santa event that’s been held over the past couple of years and has produced some really fantastic customized action figures.
What: The first ever Secret Summer Custom Swap. It follows all the same rules and format of the chilly classic Secret Santa Custom Swap!
When: The deadline to sign up to participate has been extended to midnight on Friday, March 8, 2013. There will be a midpoint check-in in April. The deadline for customs to be finished and shipped is June 1, 2013.
Who: Any member of the Fwoosh in good standing may join, but this is a customizing event, so experience customizing is definitely helpful. Potential participants without a gallery will need to submit evidence of previous custom work.
Why: This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for you to interact with the greatest community of customizers on the planet. Plus, you get a sweet custom hand crafted just for you!
How: State your desire to participate in the thread through the link above and send a private message to Thwiptster with your wishlist by March 8th. Once all the lists are in, the lists will be shuffled and distributed randomly. Once you get your list, it’s up to you to pick a character and get to work. When you’re done you’ll get the address your creation will be sent to where it’ll likely become the gem of a fellow Fwoosher’s collection.
