If you can’t make the around the world flight to Hong Kong to see the Iron Man 3 Suit Up at Hysan Place exhibit, maybe you can check out something closer to home, at the Happiest Place on Earth, no less. Disneyland is temporarily home to the Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries exhibit. Much like Suit Up in Hong Kong, this show includes a life-sized Hall of Armor and a virtual exhibit where you can suit up as Iron Man – I wonder if it’s the same exhibit as the Hong Kong show.
The Disney show includes some memorabilia from the first two Iron Man movies, but it doesn’t include the showcase of Hot Toys Iron Man product that served as a scaled down companion to the life-sized Hall of Armor at the Hong Kong show. I’m wondering if a road trip is in order.

Check out the ‘Iron Man Tech’ inside Innoventions at Disneyland Park!
“Iron Man 3” doesn’t hit theaters for another few weeks, so in the meantime, take a gander at “Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries” inside Innoventions at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, open now!
“Iron Man Tech” lets fans get up close to check out an exact replica of the Hall of Armor from Tony Stark’s Malibu mansion, including the Mark 42 armor which makes its big screen debut May 3! Even better, you can virtually “suit up” as Iron Man, with J.A.R.V.I.S.’ help of course, to test out Stark’s latest and most advanced piece of armor through augmented reality technology!
While the Mark 42 serves as the centerpiece of the Hall of Armor, attendees can also admire the Marks I-VII, as worn by Robert Downey, Jr. in all of Iron Man’s previous films.
“The exterior of [Innoventions] is very ’60s-like, and our challenge was to stick with the theme of this building while establishing a reliable story surrounding the exhibit,” explains Jay Dreves, Associate Show Producer of Walt Disney Imagineering. “[As Imagineers], we are all about storytelling, so we try and provide reasons for why things are [where they are] here.”
Apart from the Hall of Armor and augmented reality technology, guests can make their way through a hallway of stills from the first two Iron Man films as well as the upcoming “Iron Man 3.” Plus, those who visit the exhibit can take home an exclusive “Iron Man 3” poster, while supplies last, but only until April 19!
Innoventions, located inside Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, showcases the latest technology, from hands-on equipment to interactive exhibits, games, shows and more. More importantly, now you can go and geek out at the Happiest Place on Earth, before this exhibit bids Anaheim farewell!
