Star Wars afficionados will dig the latest 1/6 scale figure from Sideshow Collectibles. It’s Boba Fett in the armor that Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston designed for his initial screen tests. Although the design team knew that for The Empire Strikes Back that Boba Fett would have a fair amount of color, for the initial look the armor was a stark white.
In 1978 Joe Johnston designed an early prototype of the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, for Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. The original ‘Supertrooper’ design featured striking all-white armor and the first prototypes of Fett’s trademark weapons.
