Seems like there’s been a tremendous resurgence in the popularity of the Millenium Falcon. I suppose that’s not surprising – the iconic vehicle was featured prominently in the latest teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With the recent Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!) events we saw a ginormous community-built Falcon built in Australia with over 250 thousand bricks.
The version we present here was built by Titan Creations, a group of Singaporean LEGO MOCers (MOC stands for “my own creation”). In comparison, it’s ten thousand pieces, which is still an amazing amount of bricks. LEGO has had a couple of official Millenium Falcons – the regular release Millenium Falcon included 1,254 pieces, while the Ultimate Collector Series Millenium Falcon had 5,195.
This version of the Millenium Falcon details the interior of the vehicle and is built in mini-figure scale. It includes 24 working LED lights, and a bunch of Easter Eggs. I’ve included the hiding space of Benny from the LEGO Movie, and you can check out the rest of the pics to find out where Batman is hidden away. Titan Creations also produced a short video of their Millenium Falcon.
Are you ready for May the 4th? This is Titans’ take on the famous Millennium Falcon. With 10000+ lego elements, 4 iconic scenes and 24 different LED lights to jazz up the Falcon, this MOC which is 40% bigger (144cm X144cm) then the UCS version will leave you in awe of it intricate details. *Remember to turn up the volume*”Chewie, we’re home..”
