Pre-orders for 6-inch Sub-Zero Ice Clone start May 12
Mezco has revealed the first of its exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con, the Sub-Zero ice clone from Mortal Kombat X. Recreated in 3D using the digital assets from the Mortal Kombat X video game and produced in translucent ice blue, this limited edition Sub-Zero will fit in great with the rest of the upcoming Mortal Kombat X figures from Mezco.
I am pretty sure this will be a much better Con exclusive than the Sub Zero I picked up from Jazwares many years ago. I remember opening that sucker up right on the show floor, only for its head to fall off. I put it back in the box and never opened it again. That one hurt.
But that’s another era and another licensor – I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Mezco on this line thus far. But what I’m really waiting for is for some One:12 Collective goodness to be announced. It has begun!
Mezco Reveals SDCC Exclusive Mortal Kombat X Ice Clone Sub Zero!
New York- This assassin is the steeliest of all Mortal Kombat characters, and now Mezco pays tribute to one of his most fiendish moves; the Ice Clone.
To ensure a game accurate likeness, correct to the finest detail, Mezco’s award-winning design team has digitally sculpted the figure using the digital files from the game developers themselves. This special limited edition version is cast in a unique translucent blue that replicates the ice blue effect seen in the game.
Sub-Zero’s ice clone comes with his game accurate ice ball and ice daggers, as well as a set of alternate hands. All the accessories in the limited edition version are cast in matching translucent ice blue color.
This 6inch scale version features 23 points of articulation, many with ball joints, allowing him to recreate all the moves and poses that have made him part of gaming legend.
Sub-Zero’s Ice Clone comes in a collector friendly blister card perfect for display.
Only a limited number of these figures are available, so get yours while you can May 12th at MEZCOTOYZ.COM! Don’t delay because once they are gone, they are gone forever!
