Yesterday I posted about Marvel Legends 2-packs being back in stock at ToysRUs.com – went back today and *everything* is eligible for free shipping this weekend with a purchase of $50 or more.

One item I saw that a few people have asked me about is the Marvel Universe Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends 3-pack, with Spidey, Firestar, and Iceman.  I found mine at my local TRU, but I’ve heard that a lot of people have had a hard time finding this set.

Marvel Select Daredevil Packaged Pics

I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority, but my favorite Daredevil is the recent Hasbro Marvel Legends Daredevil, because of the combination of sculpt and articulation.  But the Marvel Select DD has the best accessory out of all of them.

Hot Toys Announces 300 MMS License

It’ll be interesting to see what Hot Toys does with the license for 300.  I think NECA did a nice job with their assortment of 7-inch figures but I was always hoping for something super-articulated.

Directed by Zack Snyder, 300 was one of the best Hollywood movies which took 9 awards plus 27 nominations in 2007. Hot Toys is delighted to be authorized to develop a 1/6 collectible series for this blockbuster. Hot Toys’ collectors are expected to preview the first collectible in next Newsletter, please stay tuned and get latest news by following us on our Blog and Facebook page as usual.

The DC Universe Classics Color of Fear set is the penultimate (nice word, right?) 2-pack to be offered on MattyCollector.com.  The previous 2-packs, Space Heroes and Battle for Earth 3 didn’t quite meet Mattel’s expectations (they are still available as of this writing) so after this set and next month’s Animal Instincts 2-pack, there’s nothing planned for the forseeable future.

The good news is that this has been the fastest-selling 2-pack thus far.  If this and Animal Instincts do well, we might see more down the line.

Marvel Legends 2-Packs 2.5

I’ve been lucky enough to find the 2.5 wave of Marvel Legends 2-Packs at my local Toys R Us, but I’ve heard from a number of people that they haven’t been able to find them.  If you’re still looking, then head over to the TRU website, where they have all three of the new 2-packs in stock.

They’re also included in their Free Shipping Store, so you’ll cut out any shipping cost if your order is over $50.

I’m also hearing that we’re going to see a lot of Black Friday deals at a lot of online stores, so stay tuned.  Happy shopping!
