DC Universe Classics Glow In The Dark Action + Dynamic Lighting = Drama!

So here we are, stuck in what seems like an abnormally long (especially considering how close together DCUC 10, 11 and 12 shipped) lull between DCUC Waves. Oh how the minutes tick so lowly by… In an attempt to kill some time, I thought I’d take a whack at photographing the 2 DC Universe Classics Glow in the Dark ghosties, the Spectre and Deadman, to try to show off their unique properties. I didn’t really catch the GitD effect, but I did (with a little help from PhotoShop) end up with some very dramatically lit pics.

A couple of months back, we posted a guest review from MatthewK of the World War Robot Portable Winter Bramble. Matt and some other friends had been telling me about this great line of vinyl toys from Ashley Wood, and I knew it was a matter of time before I’d cave in. Problem was, by the time that happened, the Brambles were only available on the secondary market, going for 3 times the original retail price or higher.

So when I was pointed to an online store where the going price was only double what I would have paid if I had only listened to reason back then, I decided to jump on the bandwagon and picked up two Brambles, the Euro and the Merc.

Masters of the Universe Classics Moss Man and Stratos Packaged Pics

With the quick sell-out of Moss Man on Monday this week, I hope those of you who were hoping to pick up a Moss Man were able to. I’m lucky to be on the Club Eternia subscription – I signed on to MattyCollector.com at about 10 minutes after the official start time to pick up Stratos, and both versions of Mossy were already sold out.

I’m hoping that Sandman has his pictorials for these guys up soon. Should be fun!
