Marvel Legends Executioner 1 Marvel Legends Executioner 2 Marvel Legends Executioner 3

Marvel Legends Executioner by Stevid – while the Wrecking Crew might be a bit oversized, I hope that when Hasbro finally gets around to making the Executioner that they reuse that body – in the meantime, here’s your chance to add this essential Thor baddie to your collection – ends May 22, 2013 18:30:15 PDT

WebSwipe: Assembling the Perfect Star Trek TOS Crew – A Piece of the Action

Speaking of those Art Asylum Star Trek figures for the Original Series, here’s a blog post from the always awesome A Piece of the Action, a site that covers Star Trek memorabilia, mostly action figures. This post covers how to put together the ultimate Original Series crew, using the figures from both Art Asylum and Diamond Select Toys (after they acquired AA and the Trek license).

This is for all of you Trek aficionado customizers who seek perfection in their TOS crew.

I figured it would be a good time to give you my version of a definitive AA/ DST crew. Some of these are pretty easy picks… others not so much. Some are gonna take a little elbow grease and extra dough to make happen. But you want the best, ya gotta work for it… And of course, this is all my opinion here. You may not agree with my picks, and that is totally cool. These just happen to be my personal picks after years of Trek collecting. So without further ado… My ultimate AA/ DST Classic Star Trek Crew!

Border Patrol: Marvel Legends Blade, Shang Chi, and Shi’ar Gladiator

Marvel Legends Blade 1 Marvel Legends Blade 2 Marvel Legends Blade 3

Marvel Legends Blade by Heroes Assembled Customs – I wonder if that running change variant Blade is ever going to come out – if not, this might be your shot at getting an updated Blade into your Marvel Legends collection – I’m digging that choice of the Mr. Terrific (am I right?) Black Lightning (thanks, Brainlock!) head for Blade – ends May 15, 2013 13:43:07 PDT

Check Out this Mind-Blowing Castle Grayskull Diorama by Farpoint Toys & Collectibles

Farpoint Power of Grayskull Diorama 01

The guys at Farpoint Toys & Collectibles shared their out of this world Power of Grayskull Diorama with us. The display is in a 9.5 x 8 foot store window. It’s got over 40 Masters of the Universe Classics figures in it, and over a thousand bricks in its custom Castle Grayskull. It’s so incredible that I’d be willing to set foot in New Jersey just to see it. (Hey, I used to lived there, so I can joke about it!)

Getting the Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett? Check Out Joe Amaro’s Custom Jabba the Hutt

Jabba the Hutt by Joe Amaro 1

I’m pretty psyched about the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett. It’s the first 6-inch Star Wars figure and launches the new line, and one of the coolest things about it is that it comes with a Han Solo encased in carbonite as an accessory. But once you’ve got Han in carbonite, what are you going to do with him? Joe Amaro’s already got that figured out, as he recently finished his Jabba the Hutt custom complete with all the accoutrements needed for Jabba’s throne room.
