Weekend Toy Run: Robocop Daily Deal at Entertainment Earth

If you’re trying to recover from Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the ongoing Cyber Week, then Entertainment Earth isn’t making it easy. They’ve got a limitless supply of daily deals, and today’s Entertainment Earth Daily Deal is for Robocop, classic and… well, not so classic. EE has two Play Arts Kai figures by Square Enix. They’ve got the classic Robocop, and while the remake may not have captured the same magic as the original, the new Robocop suit makes for a cool figure. I’ve not been buying as many Play Arts Kai figures this year, since the prices have kept going up – but at 40% off today, I’d buy that for a dollar fifty-four dollars!

They’ve also got the Superstars Robocop mini-figure from Kasual Friday at 62% off, for $5. ED-209 wants you to buy them all – you have 15 seconds to comply.

Blink and You’ll Miss Them – Mattycollector Flash Sales on the Hour Today

With Toy Guru out of the Mattycollector marketing team line-up, Mattel may need to look at hiring someone to manage their social media a bit more actively. Sure, there were Facebook and Twitter postings about their flash sales, but nothing detailing what figures were actually added to the Mattycollector Cyber Monday sale at 9AM PST – even on the Mattycollector site itself. And I’ll admit I’m a little salty over it.

If the flash sale items appear at the top of the list, then it’s Sky High with the Jet Sled, Castaspella, and Jitsu from Masters of the Universe Classics who showed up. I almost certainly would have bought another Jitsu, but he and Sky High sold out quickly. And as of last viewing, He-Man and Panthor from MOTUC, and the “bound” Doomsday, Larfleeze, Red Hood, Freddy Freeman (Capt. Marvel Jr.), Huntress, Lead, Saint Walker, Wally West Flash, and John Constantine from DC Universe Classics have sold out thus far.

Sideshow is upping the discounts on selected 1/6 scale Hot Toys figures from their DC and Marvel licenses. Many of these items were already on sale for 10 – 30% off (and many other items are still at those discount levels) for Black Friday but are now seeing even bigger discounts on Cyber Monday. See all the deals on Sideshow’s Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale page.

And be sure to check out the rest of the deals we found this weekend. Happy shopping!

I apologize in advance for any duds – I haven’t had the chance to check all of these out myself. But what else are we gonna do today? 😀 Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Some Good Deals at TFAW’s Gray Days of November Sale

There’s almost 500 action figures on sale during TFAW’s Gray Days of November Sale, which is on right now. I’ve found prices there start a bit high to begin with, so it takes some exceptional discounts to make it a good deal. So you may not find the prices that you’re looking for in their Hasbro (with Star Wars and G.I. JOEs as the bulk of the items) or Mattel DC sections, but look through and you will come across some gems.

For example, the excellent Ultraman, Power Ring, and Superwoman Crime Syndicate figures from DC Collectibles are under $13 each, and the Danaerys and Ned Stark Game of Thrones figures from Funko are under $14 each. I just did a quick run through, so there’s probably more deals worth pursuing that I missed. Happy shopping!
