SDCC 2018: Hasbro Unveils Marvel Legends Red Skull and Electronic Tesseract Exclusive

To help celebrate ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hasbro is going back to the beginning with its Marvel Legends Red Skull exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con. At least, that’s according to the historical timeline within the MCU. Johann Schmidt, AKA the Red Skull, was the big bad in Captain America: The First Avenger. This was actually the fifth movie released (after Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, and Thor), but the first in the timeline, with World War II as the backdrop.

SDCC 2018: Hasbro Unveils Marvel Legends Defenders Rail Authority Exclusive

The Marvel Legends exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con is finally official. The Hollywood Reporter revealed, and then quickly retracted, the first look at the exclusive on June 19. Now it’s back!

The “Marvel Legends Series Defenders Rail Authority 5-Pack” features Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Colleen Wing, and Iron Fist, as they’ve appeared in the various Marvel Netflix series.

SDCC 2018: Voltron Legendary Defender – Con Preview

Fans of the critically-aclaimed Netflix original series, Voltron Legendary Defender, will have plenty to do at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

  • Dreamworks Animated Television will debut the premiere episode of the seventh season of the show and host a signing of an SDCC-exclusive poster.
  • LEGO has just released the first official pics of its LEGO Ideas Voltron set, and is making a limited number of sets available early at the Con.
  • Bluefin has a special convention exclusive version of the Bandai Shokugan Super Voltron Super Mini-Pla.
  • The Playmates Toys Hyper-Phase Voltron 5-piece gift set will be on display at the Diamond PREVIEWS Booth #2401 and available for purchase from participating retailers at the Con.
  • Lion Forge Comics will have an exclusive variant of Voltron Legendary Defender Series 3, Issue 1.
  • And designer Han Cholo will have exclusive Voltron Membership Kits and Enamel Pins for sale.
