ThreeA Toys Teases TKLUB Three – E.D.O with Gatling Gun

The third of 3A Toys’ Tomorrow Kings from the TKLUB will come with a gatling gun, according to the Ashley Wood teaser image for the figure. E.D.O joins Oroshi 18 and NAGE M.I.A as the third of three Tomorrow Kings needed to qualify for The Art of TK Mook – which I’ve been assuming is a magazine / book.

We’ve been seeing a new TK offered every 6 weeks or so. If this is like the others, it should be offered for $120, or $102 with the 3AA discount – TKLUB is available only to 3AA members.

ThreeA Toys WWRp Dropcloth Superset (9 Total) Up For Pre-Order on June 14

3A Toys Dropcloth Superset 2

Couple of 3A Toys updates today – first, for fans of the 1/12 scale World War Robot line, they’ll be offering a set of Dropcloths that will include 9 bots in total. The cost will be $230 for the set, but with the 3AA discount that comes to about $195 for the set, or about $22 a bot. A lot of people are grumbling that 3A should offer these each individually, like they have been doing with the Grunts – but at this price these are about as cheap as I’ve seen a 1/12 scale figure from them.

I’m primarily interested in one or two of them, the Medic for sure, but there’s a lot of interesting colorways included. So I may be picking up a set and will look to the Unofficial ThreeA Legion BST to find homes for the others, and barring that, eBay. Might even put one up as a Free Stuff giveaway – but that’s a few months down the line. The WWRp Dropcloth Superset goes up for pre-order on Bambaland on June 14 at 6PM EST.

ThreeA Toys Action Portable Civil Offensive 3 Ankou EX 3-Pack on Bambaland Now

THE CIVIL OFFENSIVE Ankou EX 3pack apankouexwave1

The second part of the Action Portable 1/12 scale Ankou EX pre-order is up on Bambalandstore today. On Friday last week, 3A Toys listed Fatty Drown, the single Ankou. Today, we’ve got the Civil Offensive 3-pack, featuring Laurent, Med-EX, and Shadow-EX. These are massive compared to the Zombs from AP, for example – that helps account for the price, which is $175 for all three.

ThreeA Toys Reveals San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive 1/6 Medic Zomb

3A Legionnaires attending San Diego Comic-Con won’t be too happy about not being able to reserve the first of 3A’s exclusives for SDCC 2013 – the 1/6 scale Medic Zomb. I expect that “LIVE F5” (named for the practice of refreshing the browser on Bambalandstore trying to pick up exclusive drops) will cause a stir on the showroom floor.

I remember the line wrapping around the booth each day a couple years back. On one of the days the line obscured a George RR Martin signing – this was before his popularity surged even higher with the Game of Thrones series on HBO. It was frustrating then, so I hope 3A will figure out how to ease the pain this time around.

3A Toys SDCC 2013 Medic ZombAshley Wood about our presence at SDCC and presenting one of the exclusive figures:

“Figured we would start the 6 week countdown to SDCC, SD13 to us at 3A! One of the exclusive toys that will only be offered only at SD13 is the 1/6th Medic Zomb. This year is different, there will be no pre-orders or reserving, hence the LIVE F5 tag. Each day will have an allotment, im sure someone at the 3A booth on the day will be able to tell you when they will available etc. We will do out best to slap flippers and deny purchasers who should know better!

The thing we look most forward to is seeing you guys, chatting and having a laugh, the toys are cool, but the chance to hang out is tops!

and before you ask, yup, he comes with new gun holding hands!”

ThreeA Toys Action Portable Fatty Drown Surprise Drop on Bambaland Now

fattydrown apankouexwave1

The first of the 3A Toys Action Portable Ankou EX figures is up for pre-order on Bambalandstore.com right now. That’s Fatty Drown in all black, and he’s $75. This is somewhat of a surprise, as the details of the sale had not been announced in advance. However, they did say a while back that Fatty and the Civil Offensive 3-pack would be on sale in May – maybe the suddenness of this drop is to partially make good on that, even though most 3A fans are used to the operation running a little loose.

These are cool looking and in my preferred 6-inch scale, but it may take some convincing for me to pick up Fatty and the rest, whenever they go on sale. I know I’m risking missing out on Fatty completely, because this has been touted as a limited sale – no guarantees how long the pre-order window will last.
