ThreeA Toys Launches World of 3A Website with 3AA Exclusive Cornelius Tomorrow King

3A Toys has launched a new website, World of 3A. WO3A (for short) combines information about 3A’s toy lines, publishing, and news on one site. Their previous website had been built by a third party and was likely difficult to maintain, with the last updates coming at the end of 2012. For now, the 3A blog is still being updated but I imagine will be shuttered and replaced by the news section on WO3A.

To commemorate the launch, 3A is offering the “Cornelius” Tomorrow King exclusively to 3AA members on Bambaland, which remains a separate site but linked to from WO3A. Cornelius had previously been teased with a “NYCTFKC” label, leading me to think he would be made available somehow at New York Toy Fair. If that’s the case, it’s interesting to see that 3A remains as fluid and changing as ever.

This isn’t the first time 3A has made changes to its websites. They previously had to reboot the 3A Forum from scratch, losing the old site in the process – interestingly, the forums are hosted at the old domain and not linked to from WO3A – an oversight? They also tried to replace their online shop but reverted to Bambaland. I’m sure more changes are to come, and don’t mind, as long as 3A keeps making great toys.

ThreeA Toys Shares More Iron Man Pics and Marvel News

It’s been over half a year since we saw the initial teaser for the 3A Toys Iron Man, so we were overdue for some updates. The pics of the prototype look good, and give a better view of how the hidden articulation (like in the elbows and knees) will look, or not look, as the case may be.

I’m also pleased with the other characters they’re making – I think with the exaggerated limbs, Spidey will look especially nice.

Ashley Wood been given the liberty to make his own version of ICONIC Marvel characters, currently we can reveal that aside of IRON MAN, we are working on ULTRON, DR. DOOM and SPIDERMAN.

We are planning to offer IRON MAN for pre-order in December 2013 (all depends how fast everything will be approved).

ThreeA Toys Surprise Drop – Adventure Kartel Oppenheimer Glow in the Dark Zomb

3A Toys put up a surprise pre-order for another Zomb – this time, it’s glow-in-the-dark. No background for the Oppenheimer Zomb was given with the drop, but I imagine this Zomb got the crap nuked out of him. Not sure if the pre-order will stay open past this evening.

ThreeA Toys Real Steel Noisy Boy Pre-Order Opens 10/31

3A Toys Real Steel Noisy Boy 01

I have not been buying 3A’s Real Steel fighting robots. I hadn’t seen the movie when the first figures were offered for pre-order, and while my wallet is thanking me, I’m feeling like I missed out a little. The latest offering, which will go up for pre-order right after the Halloween Hot-Foot, is my favorite design among all the bots – Noisy Boy. At $380, my wallet is thanking me again, but for those of you who get him, make a video of all those LED lights – all 500 of them!

Noisy Boy goes up for pre-order at 9PM EST on October 31.

ThreeA Toys Adventure Kartel Hot-Foot Up For Pre-Order Halloween’s Eve

3A Toys Adventure Kartel Hot-Foot and friends

For the past couple years, 3A Toys has had a Halloween toy release, and they’re carrying on the tradition with another figure that’s got connections to his predecessors. In the past, we’ve had the Zombkin, a pumpkin-headed monster that came in both 1/12 and 1/6 scale. After that there was Charkin in 1/6 scale – he was the burnt to a crisp Zombkin. This Halloween, we’ve got the flamethrower-toting Hot-Foot. And, you guessed it, he’s the one who turned Zombkin into Charkin.

Hot-Foot is also a former member of the 10 Finger Gang, but apparently was tossed out because, well, you just can’t have eleven fingers. I’ve got the gang in 1/12 scale, so I hope we’ll eventually see Hot-Foot get smaller. The 1/6 scale Hot-Foot goes up for sale on October 30 at 9PM EST at Bambaland. Will we see a secret drop too? Nobody knows if 3A will trick or treat.
