Hot Toys Announces The Avengers: Agent Phil Coulson

I’m a little late on sharing a pair of Hot Toys announcements from last week. The first was previewed by Clark Gregg (it’s a figure of him, after all) – Agent Phil Coulson from The Avengers. Hot Toys really nailed the likeness.

My only gripe? His Captain America cards are already bloody. Spoiler!

Hot Toys Avengers Agent Phil Coulson Preview

The Marvel Studios movies have been a powerhouse for Hot Toys. While the movies from the other studios have yielded one or two figures each, between Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and now the Avengers, there’s an army of figures.

Coulson (how cool is it that he comes with his Cap trading cards?) and Maria Hill (not yet immortalized by Hot Toys) were the ones I thought we’d never see. Now I think the last guy to get a figure might be the SHIELD Agent caught playing Galaga.

Jay and Iron Man

It’s been one month since my brother passed away, at far too young an age. I’m in the Philippines with my parents, and this morning we went to the parish where my parents have a small crypt for my dad’s father and stepmother and my mom’s mother (more on my Lola some other time). Jay will share his final resting place with them.
