In honor of the Batman: Arkham Origins video game, available starting today, Bill has put together another classic comic. Batman: Under Siege pits the Dark Knight against Deadshot, Bane, and the Black Mask, and has a couple of funny easter eggs for fans of the movies, old and new. I started my binge-watching of Breaking Bad shortly before New York Comic Con started, so I was looking forward to picking up a Walter White exclusive. And I was as disappointed as Walt Jr. to find his dad had sold out. I returned on Sunday and decided to pick up a Heisenberg figure. This time, I was in luck – Mezco had saved one, not for me, but because the bubble had ripped off and they weren’t sure anyone would want it. But Walt had his sunglasses, hat, ziploc full of blue meth, and his duffel bag of cash. I won.
So I may not be buying a Legendary Scale Doctor Doom from Sideshow, but a LEGO Doctor Doom minifigure might fit in the budget. This Saturday in Toys R Us stores would make sense. From Noon to 2PM on 10/19 (that’s tomorrow), Toys R Us is holding a special in-store promotion – build a LEGO Joker mini-mech-bot and take it home for free. And there’s more – if you buy over $20 worth of qualifying LEGO Batman, you can get Robin and his Redbird cycle, also for free. Same goes with $20 or more of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – you get a free Iron Man.
As you can imagine, supplies will be limited, so get there early and build away! Happy shopping!
Right now, Woot has Mimobot Flash Drives from DC Comics on sale for 28 to 32% off list prices. They’ve got two versions of Batman, Robin, the Joker, Catwoman, Superman, and the Flash. They’ve also got other properties like Hello Kitty and South Park. On top of the flash drives, each Mimobot comes with special desktop backgrounds, avatars, and media files that are unique to each Mimobot.
I can’t see how anybody could resist a Flash flash drive. In fact, last time I checked, the 32GB version was sold out, but a 16GB Flash is still available. Sale ends tomorrow but I think these will move fast. No Flash pun intended.

You don’t have to be a fan of all of these characters to get some enjoyment out of your Mimobot USB devices. Just say “The Flash flash drive” enough times, and you’ll know what we’re talking about.
DC Collectibles played the Spoiler Alert game with the Capullo Riddler, and he’ll be joined by 3 other figures in the first series: Batman, Talon, and Nightwing. They’re due out in April and May next year. The solicits also more New 52 super-villains with Bizarro and Deathstorm (who?), and included the Arkham City Two-Face that was teased in the week with Solomon Grundy feature – apparently he’s on his own, and not with another wave of Arkham action figures.
Finally, an action figure 2-pack for the Arrow TV series, with Oliver Queen and Deathstroke – are you guys excited about this?
