Graphitti Designs has a few of the SDCC DC Direct exclusives in stock at their original prices. So if you’ve been looking at the aftermarket, try here first. If I get really motivated, I might pick up a Batman to try to replicate the super-articulated Arkham Asylum Batman custom that Prodigy put together.
After the Con was over, we found ourselves with a very limited quantity of these cool (and desirable) figures remaining. Here’s your chance to purchase some of these figures at the original $20.00 SRP.
In order to get these into the hands of as many different people as possible, sales are limited to two (2) each of each of the remaining figures.
Arkillo can’t believe it either! Just like DC Universe Classics Wave 16, Green Lantern Classics, Mattel’s new DC Universe Classics sub-line, is available for pre-order on Amazon.com now too. Time to do some army building and order multiples of Manhunter and Low/Maash!
Looks like DC Direct will leverage the year-long Brightest Day event in the comics in its action figure line-ups. Blackest Night produced eight series of figures – with these previews, Brightest Day is on its second series, due in comic book stores in April next year. I think we’ll see some pretty interesting character choices if we get to eight or more series in this line, and I’m really liking what we’ve seen thus far.
So we’ve been back from Comic-Con for a week, and boy do we have tons of pics to share with you all! To help you guys and gals navigate our galleries, we’ve prepared a summary with links to make browsing easier! Here we go!
I’ll admit that while I was impressed with DC Direct’s Arkham Asylum and Brightest Day figures, I didn’t spend a lot of time at their display. So Fwoosh’s TheGDBatman was kind enough to send me some more pics – most notably, the Return of Bruce Wayne figures that I somehow completely missed. He also sent over some pics from the lines that I did get, including Arkham Asylum, Blackest Night, Brightest Day, and even some of the statues on display there.
