Two-Bad Makes Mattycollector May Early Access a Can’t-Miss

Masters of the Universe Classics Rio Blast and DC Universe Classics Aquaman and Robin also available

Mattycollector May Sale

Blast Attak, this month’s Club Eternia figure, may be considered a dud by many Masters of the Universe Classics fans, but Early Access this month is sure to be a madhouse – that’s because Mattycollector is making Two-Bad available. As some of you may recall, during the subscription drive for the 2014 Club Eternia, Mattel announced that Two-Bad would have no day of sales inventory, leading to much angst from the fan base and presumably to more subscriptions.

What remains to be sold during is likely the customer service stock for the figure – so be prepared for a massive rush followed by a quick sell-out. Adding to the mayhem are two of the final DC Universe Classics figures – Aquaman with his hook hand and the Damian Wayne Robin, both with their own draw. Rio Blast rounds out Early Access.

Early Access has Two-Bad, Rio Blast, Aquaman and Robin, and opens tomorrow at 8AM PST. All Access adds Blast Attak, and will open up at 9AM on Friday.

No Joke – Mattycollector Convention Exclusives 20% Off Sale – 24 Hours Only, Starting Tomorrow

Mattycollector convention exclusives 24 hour sale

Mattel is continuing to clear out remaining inventory at Mattycollector – on sale tomorrow for 20% off are DC Universe and Masters of the Universe Classics figures from San Diego Comic-Con and the “traveling conventions.” Most of these are from the past two years – but I’m surprised that Matty still has some of the Mo-Larr vs Skeletor 2-packs from way back in 2010 in stock. I’m a Robot Chicken fan, but maybe the Eternian Dentist was too much of a stretch for the hardcore He-Fans.

The sale at Mattycollector starts at 9AM PST tomorrow, April 2nd. It lasts for 24 hours, but judging from previous sales, your best bet is to get there at the opening bell if there’s something you really want. No April Fools, and happy shopping!

There’s eight figures in the sale, including some Young Justice, DC Universe Classics, and DC Unlimited New 52 characters.

It’s a one-day sale, so don’t delay. Happy shopping!

Soapbox Sunday: What’s Next for Club 200X?

What's Next for Club 200X?

Is it too soon to say that Club 200X, and by extension, Masters of the Universe Classics, is dead?

We asked last week if Club 200X has the power. According to Skeletor’s Love Child, it does not. In the latest report on the subscription, SLC stated that they had just hit the halfway mark to the minimums needed to make all six figures they announced for the line. With just over a week to go, it’s not looking good.

I Forgot About Mattycollector’s March Early Access

Mattycollector March Early Access

When Mattycollector has something good up for grabs, I try to post a reminder the day before. This month, the sale is so forgettable that I wanted to post about that – but I forgot. 😀

Early Access for March (which ends Friday morning at 8AM PST) and All Access (which starts on Monday at 9AM PST) will have the same three figures available: Connor Kent Superboy and Ice from DC Universe Classics, and the Masters of the Universe Giant Zodac.
