DC Universe Classics Johnny Quick DC Universe Classics Jesse Quick

DC Universe Classics Johnny Quick and Jesse Quick by juan666soto – this customizer has a bunch of JLA / JSA / All-Star Squadron / Infinity Inc. figures up for sale this week, but I was most drawn to the father / daughter pair that are listed individually – in particular, I think Jesse Chambers is overdue for a figure in DCUC, as she’s been featured pretty prominently in JSA and JLA for several years – ends Apr 22, 2013 15:50:34 PDT and Apr 19, 2013 18:49:31 PDT

In AFP’s Border Patrol, we scour active eBay auctions for customized action figures that you won’t want to let slip by!

MattyCollector 2013 Subscriptions Re-Opened for the Rest of April

MattyCollector 2013 Subscriptions

If you somehow missed the months and months the 2013 Mattel subscriptions were available last year and were hoping to jump on board, now’s your chance. Mattel has opened up those subs for the rest of this month, and you’ll get all the remaining figures for the year for each, from May onwards. I know there’s people who were swayed by the unending hysteria during the sales period that the subscriptions were at risk, and bought into multiple subs – I imagine some of these folks would rather jump off instead.

But hey, no Club exclusives for Masters of the Universe Classics and DC Universe Classics, but there’s a lot more of the selections revealed, and less funds committed. And this is another chance to pick up the Club Filmation half-year sub, which did have a relatively short subscription period, compared to the rest. Mattel talks about a limited amount of subs available – I’ll be curious to see if they do sell out of any. Here are the links to all the MattyCollector subscriptions.

DC Universe Classics Larfleeze and Masters of the Universe Classics Snake Face Headline the MattyCollector 4/15 Sale

Early Access for this Matty Tax Day sale has come and gone, and to show how little I know, it was the Masters of the Universe Classics Webstor and only Webstor who sold out of his remaining customer service stock during the subscribers’ free for all. That leaves Mosquitor and the Snake Men 2-pack to join Snake Face and the DC Universe Classics Larfleeze for the sale that just opened up. The WWE Christian was a no-show for Early Access – to make sure I wasn’t going crazy I checked, and the online announcement of the 4/15 sale made no mention of Early Access for him, but the email reminder that I got did.

In case you can’t spell MattyCollector, here’s the link to the MattyCollector 4/15 bundle page. Happy shopping!
