Wal-Mart Exclusive DC Universe Classics Green Lantern’s Light 5-Pack

It was at Toy Fair earlier this year when I first saw the 2-ups for Guy Gardner and Tomar-Re – two essential characters from the Green Lantern comic books that hadn’t yet been made in DC Universe Classics. I was psyched – Guy was my most wanted GL, and Tomar-Re is a classic Green Lantern. Now that I have them in hand, with John Stewart, Hal Jordan, and Sinestro in his Green Lantern duds, I wish I could tell you I was more pleased with the set.

Four Horsemen Reveal NYCC Exclusive Outer Space Men Figure – Metamorpho

The Four Horsemen have announced NY Comic Con exclusive  “Beta” waves for their Outer Space Men line with partners Action Figure Xpress and Toy Tokyo. Today they revealed the first figure.

Here he is! METAMORPHO: The Man from Alpha Centauri!

Shown here in his “Beta Phase” incarnation, he’s the first of a pair of Outer Space Men characters to be sold exclusively by Toy Tokyo at the 2010 New York Comic Con!

The Metamorpho figures being sold at Toy Tokyo’s booth (#2871) will be strictly limited to only 300 pieces! Price to be determined.

Hot Toys Platoon Chris Taylor and Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee Available for Pre-Order at Sideshow Toys

Sideshow Collectibles has a couple of the upcoming Hot Toys figures available for pre-order – Chris Taylor, Charlie Sheen’s character in Platoon, and Bruce Lee from Enter the Dragon. I might spring for the Sideshow exclusive version of Bruce Lee, since it comes with an extra body and stand for just $20 more. It’s a DX, so with the extra body, you can have two complete figures since there’s the extra head, many sets of hands, and multiple outfits included already.

When we first saw that Hasbro would be making a Samuel L. Jackson-based Nick Fury for it’s 3.75-inch Iron Man 2 line, I wasn’t sure how it was going to make it to retail. So I was pleasantly surprised to ole Nick in an exclusive Toys R Us boxed set entitled Fury of Combat on the shelves this week.
