Sorry it took so long – there were just so many figures and pics we had that it took a while to get them processed.

I know that the announcement of Marvel Legends in 2012 was big news at the Hasbro Marvel panel for a lot of long-time Marvel action figure fans, but Hasbro also announced some big items, literally, for this year and next. As you know, Hasbro introduced the Marvel Masterworks line with a 19-inch Galactus, as a blister-carded exclusive at San Diego Comic-Con.
In October, Galactus will hit at retail in different packaging. He’ll include a Marvel Universe Silver Surfer, and will also be available in a variant deco based on his appearance in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game.

We’re slowly uploading our video from the Mattel DC Universe panel from earlier today – the hotel wireless network is “the little engine that can’t” right now. While you’re waiting on that, here’s pictures from the new DC figures put out today – we have DC Universe Classics wave 16, Green Lantern Classics, the Legion of Super Heroes (at least what has been sculpted thus far), and a new figure in the All-Star repaint category for Toys R Us.

At the two Mattel panels today at San Diego Comic-Con, Mattel revealed the exclusive figures for their Club Eternia and Club Ecto-1 subscriptions for Masters of the Universe Classics and Ghostbuster 6-inch lines. They posted images on MattyCollector.com this afternoon.
I’m a little iffy on the He-Man, but somehow they made Bow kick some ass. For Ghostbusters, I am still on the fence – a Stay Puft-covered Ray is cool, but I need to figure out how many variants of the main Ghostbusters I really need.
We’ll have video coverage from both panels later today.
We’ve got a ton more pics from Preview Night that still need to be processed, but it’s time to get ready to head back to the Con. Before we close up shop this morning, though, I know Buzzy Fret has been waiting to get a glimpse of what’s coming from Bif Bang Pow! from their Venture Bros. license.
