SDCC 2015: Beast Kingdom Star Wars Darth Vader and Magnetic Floating Iron Man Exclusives

SDCC 2015 Beast Kingdom exclusive Star Wars Darth Vader and Floating Iron Man Mark III

Beast Kingdom from Taiwan will have two super cute exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con, courtesy of Blue Fin. Darth Vader and Iron Man will be featured in their “Egg Attack” looks, which I think are thusly named for their oversized but adorable egg-shaped noggins.

Both feature LED lights, and the Iron Man has a truly remarkable magnetic floating feature that allows it to hover, spinning, over its base. Bluefin products will be located on the Main Hall in Booths #3545 and #140.

SDCC 2015 (and Kickstarter Monday): Accessories for Four Horsemen and AFX Raven Exclusives

SDCC 2015 Four Horsemen AFX exclusive Ravens

The Four Horsemen had previously announced they would be releasing a pair of their Kickstarter Gothitropolis Ravens variants with Action Figure Xpress at San Diego Comic-Con. With this update, they shared the good news that the exclusives would also come with accessories. AFX’s exclusive, the translucent Decimus Hrabban, will include a similarly decoed battle pack. Like the add-on for the Kickstarter project, the battle pack includes an alternate screaming head, a helmet that fits both, and a saber. The Four Horsemen’s exclusive, the Golden Eagle variant, will sport the colors of the US Navy and come with the American flag cape accessory included with the Kickstarter Golden Eagle.

Both are priced at $35 and will be available at the AFX booth (#3345) at SDCC starting on Preview Night. Happy Con!

Funko also announced a signing with Hannibal executive producer Bryan Fuller:

We are thrilled to announce our Bryan Fuller Pop! figure! The man behind Hannibal bears an eerie resemblance to Hannibal Lector!

This Pop! comes in a run of 144 pieces and will be available during his signing at the Funko booth on Friday, July 10th at 2 p.m.! The line for our Bryan Fuller signing will not begin to form before 1 p.m. and we will only sell Bryan Fuller Pop!s during the signing. We will not sell other Funko items during that time!

While we were expecting just three batches of announcements, maybe Funko will have a final one before the show. Stay tuned!

Weekend Toy Run: Pre-Order the Marvel Select Ant-Man Unmasked Exclusive

Marvel Select Ant-Man unmasked exclusive

We’re three weeks away from the opening of Ant-Man, and the hype machine is in full effect with a ton of media coverage, including a fourth TV spot, “Become the Hero.”  And while we’ve seen a bunch of Ant-Man toys up for pre-order, we haven’t seen one with Paul Rudd’s likeness on it – until now.

The unmasked version of the Marvel Select Ant-Man is available to pre-order now. Like the more widespread release, the 7-inch figure will come with his masked head, 3 pairs of interchangeable hands, and a 1.5-inch Ant-Man, but the unmasked Paul Rudd head will be exclusive to Marvel / Disney stores and will be featured on the figure in package. And bonus – it’s due to be released by the movie opening date of July 17.
