Argh! – I Missed the TMNT Classic Rocksteady and Bebop at the Playmates Store #NickTurtles #TMNT

I’ve been waiting for these guys from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Collection ever since their Playmates team let us know that Rocksteady and Bebop were on the verge of hitting toy shelves at Toys R Us. But this was back at the start of September, and there’s been no sign of them whatsoever.

Then, last night, Kastor of Kastor’s Korner posts on Facebook that they’re both up on the Playmates Store site. I didn’t even know Playmates had an online store. And of course, I didn’t see the posts until early this morning, so it’s back to waiting for TRU. Here’s the links for Rocksteady and Bebop on the Playmates store, if you are borderline OCD and want to keep checking for them to come back in stock – hit me up if they do!

Casey Jones is finally joining Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and his action figure from Playmates is right behind him. How do you like his new look?

To celebrate his return to the cartoon and the toyline, Playmates is giving away 25 of the first figures to come off of the production line. It’s easy to enter, too – just share this on Facebook or retweet and make sure you include the hashtags #CaseysBack #NickTurtles (like in the title of this post).

Hello Kitty x Street Fighter Comikaze Blanka and Wave 2 Update

For the plushies out there, the next wave of hellokittyxstreetfighter is on its way. Cami, Guile and Ken are slated for Series 2 at both 10-inch and 6-inch size. Slated for March 2014, if you want to get yours, BigBadToyStore has them up pre-order now.

And if you were lucky enough to have attended or know someone who attended Stan Lee’s Comikaze at the Los Angeles Convention Center this past weekend, you might have seen Toynami’s latest exclusive hellokittyxstreetfighter Blanka Kitty! My brother was nice enough to brave the unwashed masses and get me one (thx Matt!)

Only 1000 were made and all SOLD OUT. Happy hunting on eBay now I guess…

DC Stuffs 75 Collectibles into Superman 75th Anniversary Prize Pack for Sweepstakes

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have put together an awesome prize package for Superman’s 75th anniversary. It includes items from DC Collectibles, Funko, Mattel, Mezco, NECA, and a whole mess more. They’ve even got some of the exclusives from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con in there.
