NEW DC ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MARCH
DC unleashed a plethora of announcements today. They include New 52 Figure two-Packs of Flash & Vibe and Wonder Woman & Katana, each priced at $34.99 ($5 off the MSRP), as well as a single Martian Manhunter figure at $21.99 ($3 off the MSRP). Aquaman & Black Adam and Superman & Nightwing get 3.75″ figure two-packs from Injustice: Gods Among Us for $26.99 each ($3 off the MSRP) as well. Arkham City Nightwing gets a new statue at $99.99 ($25 off the MSRP), while Batman gets two new Black & White Statues – Sean Murphy Version and Rafael Grampa Version, with each priced at $69.99 ($10 off the MSRP). DC Universe Classics Elongated Man and Dr. Manhattan Headline Limited MattyCollector Sale on 3/15

March Madness takes on a whole new meaning for Masters of the Universe Classics collectors with MattyCollector’s sale this month. First, Fang Man, the Club Eternia figure for March, is available only to subscribers – so for those of you cherry pickers who were looking forward to one of the big hitters from Filmation, you are out of luck.

Early Access this month proved to be a bit of a rage-generator for some as well, with Strobo selling out within a couple of minutes. I am guessing this will be hailed as a success for Mattel, who also sold all of their stock of Mekaneck and WWE Miss Elizabeths. What does that leave for sales day? MOTUC Keldor (remaining customer service stock), DC Universe Classics Elongated Man, Watchmen’s Dr. Manhattan, and WWE Shawn Michaels. Hasbro Shares Hi-Res Images for Transformers Masterpiece Soundwave and Acid Storm Exclusives

Hasbro is releasing the Transformers Masterpiece Soundwave and Acid Storm as Toys R Us exclusives later this year, although they didn’t have more specifics to share at this time. Soundwave is a reissue of the much beloved Takara Masterpiece Soundwave and will feature all five of his deployers. Acid Storm is the first of the deluxe Seekers in the line.
