Because Halo Minimates aren’t going to drive Mini Camrys

That’s right, we are making Minimates sized Warthogs! Available in regular (Toys R Us) or Dirty (Specialty Stores). You couldn’t expect Halo Minimates to get around in anything less.

Hagop and I got to see these way back during Toy Fair in February, but they were in a strict no photography zone. We had to go back into an area behind a curtain, then they lifted up a cover to reveal Halo Minimates. I think this is a property that totally makes sense for the Minimates treatment.

Here is a first look at DST’s new Halo Minimates in packaging. These 2-packs are only available at Toys R Us!

But after seeing Sandman’s pics of the Square Enix booth from San Diego Comic-Con and Indy’s Best Toy Ever review of the Sneaking Suit, I knew I’d hate myself if I skipped their booth at NYCC.

Square Enix Play Arts Kai Halo Reach Figures Available for Pre-Order

Sandman got some great pics of the upcoming Halo: Reach figures at San Diego Comic-Con, but besides those and Industrial’s review of the Metal Gear Solid Sneaking Suit Snake, I haven’t been as aware of what Square Enix has been up to with its Play Arts Kai figures as I ought to be.

The 10-inch figures super-articulated figures for Halo: Reach should arrive around the end of the year, and are available for pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles and AFP sponsor Big Bad Toy Store for about $50 each.
