Mattel WWE Toys R Us Exclusive Bushwhackers and More Quick Pics

Mattel WWE - The Bushwhackers.JPG

To be perfectly honest, even though the Bushwhackers came from the era of wrestling that I watched and enjoyed, I was never that big of a fan. They were more of a comedy act that I found amusing at first, but quickly tired of it.

That said, I must now acknowledge that as far as all the wrestling figures I have in my collection, which includes a bunch of old Hasbro WWF figures, JAKKS Pacific WWE figures, and the new figures from Mattel, the Bushwhackers are now at the top of the heap. They’re just captured perfectly in plastic here.

Marvel Legends Defenders

It’s been quite a wait since we the last wave of Marvel Legends 2-packs. We posted our last review, of the Dum Dum Dugan and Sharon Carter 2-pack, almost exactly a year ago. Now the latest set of 2-packs, featuring Valkyrie and Hulk, Black Widow and Winter Soldier, and Deadpool and Warpath, are hitting Toys R Us stores. I don’t have these in hand yet, but gunbuster718 of the Fwoosh was kind enough to share his pictures. I’ll write up some quick thoughts but will reserve judgment until I have my own set to review.

Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers – October Press Pics

No new G.I. Joes images from Hasbro in the press pics they sent over for October, but we do have Marvel, Star Wars and Transformers – 50 images in total.

The Marvel team supplied new images from Super Hero Squad and Marvel Universe 2-packs exclusive to Target. I think the MU 2-packs have already come and gone from Target shelves, at least around me. I never saw the new Punisher on shelves, and Hasbro didn’t include a shot of that 2-pack either.

Toynami Naruto Shippuden 2010 SDCC Exclusive Sage Mode Naruto

DSCN8847.JPG

I’ve been on a Hasbro streak lately with G.I. Joes and Marvel Universe, so I thought I’d shake it up a bit with a figure that I’ve had since Comic-Con. Today we’re taking a look at Toynami’s 2010 SDCC exclusive 4-inch Sage Mode Naruto! This was the first figure I bought at the Con, and as soon as I got back to my hotel room I immediately opened him up! I’m a big fan of the anime, and I’ve  been waiting for a decently articulated figure of Naruto ever since I got hooked on the show.
