Hasbro Reveals SDCC-Exclusive Marvel Legends Battle for Asgard Box Set (via Nerdist)

On the heels of their Marvel Legends 12-inch Daredevil, Hasbro has revealed a comics-based Thor box set as its 6-inch Marvel Legends exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con. The Mighty Thor: Battle for Asgard box set, unveiled at Nerdist, will include the Odinson (Unworthy Thor), his grandfather Bor, Malekith the Accursed, and Ulik the Rock Troll. But make no mistake -the headliner is the current wielder of Mjolnir in the comics – Jane Foster, aka Thor.

Hasbro Reveals SDCC-Exclusive Marvel Legends 12-Inch Daredevil (via Yahoo)

At San Diego Comic-Con last year, Hasbro teased a battle-damaged Matt Murdock head during their Marvel Legends panel. We snapped a quick shot of it on our Instagram feed. Thanks to an exclusive reveal at Yahoo, we now know that Matt is joining the 12-inch Marvel Legends line as a convention exclusive for SDCC 2017.

Missing Good Guy Optimus Prime? Hasbro Has You Covered!

The last I saw of Optimus Prime, back in 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, he was flying off into space, apparently leaving Earth behind. So while I was not at all surprised to see him back on Earth in the trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, it was a bit of a shocker to see him as the supposed villain… although maybe not as much as seeing Mark Wahlberg fighting Transformers with a sword.

If bad guy Optimus Prime has you reminiscing back to when we were still somewhat hopeful about Michael Bay’s handling of our beloved childhood memories, then help is here; Hasbro recently announced that the Optimus Prime we know and love, from the first Transformers live action movie, will be joining the Transformers Masterpiece Movie Series this summer. Another shocker? That movie came out ten years ago.
