Toy Fair 2019: Hasbro Overwatch Ultimates

Although I’ve only watched gamers stream Blizzard’s Overwatch, I was still impressed with Hasbro’s initial foray into delivering collectible toys to the games 40 million players worldwide.

Overwatch Ultimates is a 6-inch scaled line of super-articulated action figures that capture the signature looks, accessories, and moves of the game’s of characters. They’ll be offered in single-carded and 2-pack assortments, as well as one deluxe figure.

Toy Fair 2019: Hasbro Marvel Legends Report

Hasbro held their annual Toy Fair Nerd Herd (officially the “Fan Media Day”) and it was packed – both with awesome new Marvel Legends reveals, and with people trying to get pictures of said Legends. It’s a big Marvel movie year for Marvel Studios and 21st Century Fox, and I was expecting the brand to line up with the movies those two studios are putting out.

Marvel Studios – Captain Marvel (figures already on shelves), Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far From Home
Fox – Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants

While Hasbro did come out in full force in alignment with the movies, they still managed to mix in some surprises. Read on!

Hasbro Teases Power Rangers Basic Figures and Zords

Since Hasbro acquired the license to Saban’s Power Rangers in May last year, fans have been eagerly anticipating the first reveals of their upcoming toy lines. In August, they teased the Lightning Collection – a premium line of action figures – with a reveal of Tommy Oliver, the White Ranger. Since then, they’ve been relatively quiet on the figure front.

But with Toy Fair coming up next week, and more toys due to hit shelves this Spring, Hasbro has unveiled its Basic line and a pair of Zords – these figures are targeted at the Power Rangers’ younger fans. We hope to see more of the collector-oriented Lightning Collection at Hasbro’s Fan Media Briefing next weekend. Stay tuned!

The Amazing Spider-Man – 2018 Holiday Special – Bill’s Comics

It’s Christmas time once again, and what do you get for the Spider-Man who has everything? How about a brand new costume?

Come along True Believers, and join the old web-head on a little romp around the city, as he breaks in his new suit, and tries to spread some holiday cheer. He may not deck the halls, but he’ll definitely be decking some bad guys in this action-packed, web-slinging adventure.
