Marvel Select Storm, Jane Foster, and Lizard on Sale Today Only at Entertainment Earth

Three Marvel Select figures from Diamond Select Toys are on sale for today only. Storm is in her classic, first appearance costume – well, her first appearance after she appeared sans costume showering the farmlands of her home village, where she was considered a goddess. Jane Foster is from Thor: The Dark World and is one half of a matched pair with Thor. Their bases combine to form a larger diorama. And Lizard is from his modern comic appearances.

Prices on Marvel Select have been creeping up (just like with all figures). These are on sale for 35% off, for today only. Happy shopping!

Diamond Select Toys Reveals Falcon, Cap and More from Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I guess with two weeks to go to the Winter Soldier, there’s going to be a lot of Cap news to report. Diamond Select Toys is next with Marvel Select and Marvel Minimates figures. They picked Falcon and the “Super Soldier” version of Cap for their Marvel Select line-up, and have a full wave of Minimates for the movie.

I’ve been trying to stay away from details about the movie, and if you’re doing the same, you might want to just look at the pictures but not read the last paragraph about the Minimates – it reveals some characters that will be in the movie that might be a pleasant surprise for comic book fans. Marvel Store Black Friday 20% Off Sale

I’m too grumpy to deal with crowds and waiting in line, so on Black Friday I’m happy to look for online deals. The official Marvel Store is holding a 20% off sale, with its standard free shipping for orders of $50 or more. It’s the standard fare there – mostly Marvel Select and Marvel Minimates, but they also have some Sideshow Collectible items (including the black-suited Spider-Man from Emo 3) and Funko bobble-heads.

There’s a Deadpool bobble-head there that I’ve been thinking about getting for some time now. Excelsior!
