DC Universe Classics Ozymandias and Ra’s al Ghul Headline Mattycollector 11/15 Sale

Mattycollector November Sale

DC Universe Classics has one of its last big months on Mattycollector, with Ozymandias wrapping up the Black Freighter Watchmen subscription and much-wanted Batman villain Ra’s al Ghul revealing his ugly face – although I’m not sure that was intended. On the Masters of the Universe Classics side, fan-vote winner Geldor should please the mini-comics fans.

And the men of Masters now have a companion to SkirtGate – some are unhappy with the shape of the overlays on some of the new male figures, like Sea Hawk – the engineering on them add some unwanted girth to the already exaggerated torsos.

Here’s your links to early access on 11/14 at 8AM PST (Constantine and Elasti-Girl) and the bundle page for the regular sale on 11/15 at 9AM PST. Enjoy!

If there was any doubt that Broom would be coming to Masters of the Universe Classics with Madame Razz, then check out the file name on the image. Mattel was not as forthcoming with Loo-Kee. Regardless, Princess of Power fans should be pleased with the Mattel’s final teases this year.

We’ve got late breaking news from Sunday! Fans were swept up in the excitement of this MOTUC accessory, which magically appeared along with a small visitor from Etheria.

Now we know how we’ll be getting that Robot Faker head – it will come with New Adventures Skeletor. And yes, the sword that Mattel teased at NYCC belongs to Flutterina. She has an actual skirt, so we can’t complain about the skirts that Mattel has been unintentionally giving the female characters in Masters of the Universe Classics recently.

And the latest reveal in the booth – Broom! For you Princess of Power fans, does that signal a Madame Razz in 2014?

2013 Comikaze: Mattypalooza Panel Reveals

The Mattypalooza panel with Toy Guru and special guest Stan Lee himself just wrapped up! MOTUC fans got a look at three awesome reveals, and now it’s your turn to see these great toys that are coming your way…

Masters of the Universe® Classics Flutterina™

The owner of the mysterious sword seen at NYCC has been revealed! The first Flutterina™ since 1985, this Princess of Power® is scheduled for August 2014 as part of Club Eternia®. She features giant articulated fairy wings, perfect for soaring straight into danger!

Masters of the Universe® Classics Skeletor®

More wreck and ruin come your way in 2014 with this third quarterly item in Club Eternia®. The newest variant of the Evil Lord of Destruction™ features an amazing sculpt from The Four Horsemen, and comes with a removable power staff and a fan-demanded battle damaged Faker® head for your existing Faker® figure.

Ask Matty Q&A for 11/1

Hope you had a good Halloween! Here’s some treats from the gang at Mattel.

1) With regards to 2014 / 2015, you’ve said that since there are two Snake Men left it’s likely to see them split across the two years. Does the same kind of rationale apply to Stridor and Night Stalker? Or is there too much tooling to consider them in the “big hitters” category that qualify for the next two years?

Our goal for 2014-2015 is to release all of the basic figures. How many beast or vehicles released has yet to be announced. We can tell you the more tooling a beast or vehicle has the less likely it will be released ?(unless a basic vintage figure like “Gwildor” etc.. which we will prioritize).

Masters of the Universe Classics Horde Troopers and Mantenna Headline Mattycollector October Sale

Mattycollector October Sale

The October sale date for Mattycollector is here (here’s the bundle page for October), and it’s a big hit to your wallet if you’re a Club Eternia and Club Infinite Earths subscriber. For Masters of the Universe Classics, Mantenna and Lord Dactus double up for the monthly, as the September figure was pushed back. On top of that you’ve got the Horde Troopers 2-pack. The Weapons Pak is optional, but another $20 if you want recolored accessories and Kowl. Then there’s Nepthu (who?) for the Club Filmation figure. For DC Universe Classics, it’s Ocean Master.

Early Access is on right now. Merman was supposed to be up, but all I see is a sold-out Hordak. Black Mask, Lead, and the Weapons Pak are still available.
