Masters of the Universe Classics Keldor Packaged Pics

It was my first San Diego Comic-Con, and I had no idea how difficult it could be to get the Con exclusive toys. After waiting at Mattel for almost an hour, I discovered that I was in the wrong line, and could only buy the Batman exclusive. I missed out on Keldor completely.

Now that Keldor is confirmed as a bonus figure in Masters of the Universe Classics, I do feel some anxiety, since MOTUC has been selling out so quickly. Hopefully the adjustments to the production levels will have kicked in by the time Keldor ships in June.

Keldor™ is Coming: Secrets of Skeletor® Revealed!

For longer than we can remember, the background of Keldor™ has been shrouded in mystery… but in preparation of his arrival on June 15th here at MattyCollector.com, we herewith reveal his bio!

Keldor™ was the first figure in the 2002 line aimed directly at collectors, sold first at SDCC in 2003. So, with this amazing figure we have really come full circle. Not only does this bio reveal major secrets from the past of Skeletor®, but Keldor™ also includes a removable cape that can be used for your Skeletor® figures as well! He comes with both halves of the Power Sword® in purple (the only time we will do both halves in purple) and the acid vial that wounded him in battle with his half-brother, King Randor™.

Please note that Keldor™ is a “quarterly” figure and not part of the Club Eternia™ subscription. AFP Ask Matty Round-Up for 3/15/10

Here’s the latest Ask Matty Q&A. Thanks to Toy Guru and Mattel!

1. With Guy Gardner coming soon in the Green Lantern 5-pack, it dawned on me – we’re pretty darned close to having the core team members from the JLI. I won’t ask about our favorite Oreo-craving Martian, but will it be more difficult to get Fire and Ice in a regular Collect and Connect assortment because they’re female and not that active in today’s comics? And since Black Canary has seen a more classic release recently, is her JLI look off the table for the foreseeable future?

We’d love to get to all the figures and in the deco you mentioned. All are possible candidates but we can’t comment on unannounced figures!

Reminder: Masters of the Universe Classics Moss Man, Stratos and More On Sale 3/15

Monday is the MattyCollector.com sale date for March, and Mattel has been warning that while they’re working on the issues with Digital River, we’re likely to see the same kind of performance this month. Masters of the Universe Classics She-Ra Packaged Pics

Mattel posted packaged shots of She-Ra on their Facebook page. This should clear up any questions about her head. Two heads are included, with one coming with a mask that can be displayed eyeholes up or down.

Just got in first samples of packaged She-Ra. A few small tweaks but it is pretty much ready to go for June!
