I Forgot About Mattycollector’s March Early Access

When Mattycollector has something good up for grabs, I try to post a reminder the day before. This month, the sale is so forgettable that I wanted to post about that – but I forgot. 😀

Early Access for March (which ends Friday morning at 8AM PST) and All Access (which starts on Monday at 9AM PST) will have the same three figures available: Connor Kent Superboy and Ice from DC Universe Classics, and the Masters of the Universe Giant Zodac.

Does Club 200X Have the Power?

With a week and a half left before the Club 200X subscription closes, the crew at Mattycollector has left us a bit in the dark with respect to the subscription’s status. When the sub opened a few weeks back on February 23rd, Skeletor’s Love Child, the new Matty front man who replaced Toy Guru, banished the subscription meter, and promised updates instead.

Then on the 27th and March 4th, Matty published how the Club was doing – 27% and 39% respectively. Now, it’s been over a week since that last update. Is no news good news? Does this make you miss the meter?

Final Trio Announced for Masters of the Universe Classics Club 200X; Who Got Snubbed?

The final three characters have been revealed for the Mattycollector Club 200X subscription, which Mattel announced at Toy Fair 2015 for the second half of this year. Prahvus, Queen Grayskull, and King Chooblah will be joining Callix, Evil Seed, Ceratus, and five disembodied 200X heads (the exclusive Eternian Heads accessory pack) to round out the six month sub.

The selection reminded me of one aspect I really liked about the 200X cartoon – the flashbacks to the times before He-Man really gave some good backstory and broadened the MOTU universe.
