Joe, and Star Wars brand teams at Marvel and the good folks at Hunter PR, ActionFigurePics.com and TheFwoosh.com are pleased to be give our readers a chance to win one of the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con exclusives or other prizes. Through Tuesday next week, we’ll feature one or more prizes each day. Read on for instructions on how to enter to win.

For our final day of giveaways, we’ve got the Star Wars Bounty Hunters 2-Pack. This was previously available at Jedi Con in Dusseldorf, Germany, and will be reissued for Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, Florida, in August.

While 4-Lom and Zuckuss are now quite well-known to fans, their proper names were initially a topic of considerable debate. When Kenner first produced the figures, the names somehow got reversed. But since these two bounty hunters were not identified in the film, the switch was not immediately noticed. When the mix-up was finally caught and corrected in 1989, Zuckuss and 4-Lom finally got back their rightful identities. In this exclusive set, we are paying homage to the first appearance of these bounty hunters that puzzled so many for years, with replicas of the original packaging-switched names and all!

That wraps up the presentation of our pre-SDCC giveaways – remember, the drawings won’t be held until after San Diego Comic-Con, and you’ll still be able to enter for each day’s drawings until we pick the winners.

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Most Wanted – Sandman

The 2010 San Diego Comic-Con is one day away and we’re writing down the things we are looking forward to the most! If you’ve never been to Comic-Con, I have to say it is one of the craziest places to be if you’re a fan of comic books, movies, television and most important to us: TOYS!

In this “Super Bowl” of geekdom, we get a lot of first peeks at various companies’ future toy releases. Here’s what I’m looking forward to seeing!

Masters of the Universe Classics (Mattel)

We got a lot of good stuff from this line this year. Last year Battle Cat was the star of the Con for me, as was seeing Teela and Trapjaw. This year they are supposed to show the same amount of figures they showed last year and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us! I’m hoping to see Man-E-Faces, Panthor, Mantenna and maybe some vehicles!!

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Most Wanted – Buzzy Fret

Damn, how I wish I was going to SDCC! I’ve been the past 3 years and it was a blast every time! Alas, my situation is such that I am unable to attend this year.

The Venture Bros. (Bif Bang Pow!)

Bif Bang Pow Venture Bros 04 (765x1024).jpgBif Bang Pow Venture Bros 07 (1024x1024).jpgBif Bang Pow Venture Bros 10 (1024x1024).jpgBif Bang Pow Venture Bros 06 (765x1024).jpg

I’m very intrigued to see what Bif Bang Pow! has in store for The Venture Bros. line. I’m a big fan of the show and was very excited earlier in the year when I heard they had gotten the license to the characters and were making articulated action figures of Rusty, Brock, The Monarch and Dean. Unfortunately the pics of the early prototypes left me more than a little cold. But they were “early” prototype pics, so I’m hoping that BBP! has tweaked the designs to bring the figures more in line with the art of the show. The pics of the SDCC Exclusives of Monarch’s minions (they like that better than “henchmen”), 21 and 24 have given me reason to believe that BBP! has done so. The fact that 21 and 24 are SDCC Exclusives is just another dagger of regret in my heart from not being able to jet out to the left coast this year.

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Most Wanted – Talyn

Though I am unable to attend SDCC this year, there is much I look forward to seeing and hearing about, action figure and otherwise.

Transformers (Hasbro)

BotCon 2010 09.jpg

I collect Transformers pretty heavily, and at this year’s Botcon several weeks ago, some amazing descriptions for upcoming figures were given by those who attended. I am hoping these figures get shown at Comic Con this year. These include the LONG awaited Generations (Classics) Jazz with pop-out boombox speakers, as well as a few other favorites like Tracks, Perceptor, Reflector & more. Im also looking forward to seeing a new Power Core Combiner themed after the original G1 Dinobots named ‘Grimstone.”

Hasbro is also planning on showing more info about the upcoming Hub television show; Transformers: Prime, so hopefully some video comes from that as well.

Iron Man Armors and Avatar AMP Suit To Be Displayed at San Diego Comic-Con

When Talyn saw the Propworx Iron Man Movie Prop Auction at C2E2 a couple months back, I was hoping to see some Iron Man armors at San Diego Comic-Con. And look at that! Profiles in History will have some of the actual suits worn by Robert Downey, Jr. and Jeff Bridges in Iron Man, as well as the big AMP suit worn by Stephen Lang in James Cameron’s Avatar.

In addition, they’ll be hosting a tribute to Stan Winston. Cool stuff!
