First unveiled at the Hasbro Toy Fair collector event, this huge Star Wars set comes packaged in the Death Star and includes fourteen (wow!) figures, including Salacious Crumb and a mouse droid. Figures will be individually carded in the vintage style, including the original title of the final movie in the original trilogy, Revenge of the Jedi.
I don’t know how much this exclusive is going to cost, and I can’t wait to see folks lugging this around at the show.

1) We’re really looking forward to San Diego Comic-Con next week. We know you’ll be bringing the latest from your DC Universe, Masters of the Universe, Ghostbusters, Voltron and WWE brands. Will you have any new licenses to announce? Any hints?

The Mattel team got the latest Q&A back to us yesterday afternoon, but I didn’t have time to post until this morning. I’ll blame the pile of loot that Big Bad Toy Store delivered, which included my set of DC Universe Classics wave 18. Amazing, and more to come!
1) A lot of us have been wondering how the new DC Universe comics relaunch due in September will be reflected in the DC Universe Classics line. When did you get wind of the changes? How has that affected the line-ups due out in 2012?
It has given us the opportunity to work some of the new looks into the line and refresh key characters. We are actually reworking some of our 2012 line up to take advantage of this! Stay tuned for more at SDCC!

1) Great reveal for DC Universe Classics wave 19 at MTV Geek. When will you be revealing the variant(s) for the wave? We were hoping for a fin-headed Atom or a yellow-cowled Hawkman.
Similar to wave 5 and 14, there will not be variants in this particular wave. It doesn’t count these ideas out, they just won’t be in this wave.
Transformers Dark of the Moon is only a few weeks away, so Hasbro had a lot of toys on display at Botcon this year. Most are already hitting stores, but there were some that we haven’t seen before.
