Seventh Kingdom – Raavia and Shield of Draumm – RTM Exclusives

Last week I reviewed Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra, the first two exclusive figures from the Four Horsemen’s Seventh Kingdom line.  I picked those up at San Diego Comic-Con, but there’s plenty of variants that are just starting to become available from the various online media and retail outlets that the Four Horseman have been partnering with to bring you this line.  This review covers the first one of those variants that I’ve picked up, Raavia the red cat, from Raving Toy Maniac.  As a bonus, I also picked up RTM’s Fantastic Exclusive from last year, the Shield of Draumm, the hippo from Ramathorr’s council of guards.

Before I get ahead of myself, I want to point out how great it is dealing with Rob and Bobbi, the good folks that run RTM.  They put up their order page for Raavia on Monday, and by Thursday I had these figures in my hands.

Seventh Kingdom – Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra

Seventh Kingdom - Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra

In an industry that is dominated by licensed properties, the Four Horsemen have forged ahead with the Seventh Kingdom, a non-licensed property of their own creation.  Seventh Kingdom is one line within the umbrella of the Horsemen’s Fantastic Exclusive, in which fans help determine the product characteristics, like character selection and articulation.

The Seventh Kingdom’s Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra are part of the 3rd round of Fantastic Exclusives.  The first round was headlined by Xetheus the minotaur, and the second was headlined by Ramathorr the elephant, both from the Seventh Kingdom as well.  I picked up Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra at the Four Horsemen’s booth at San Diego Comic-Con.

San Diego Comic-Con Four Horsemen Pics

The Four Horsemen are all such nice guys, and it’s good to see them succeeding with their non-licensed properties.

7th Kingdom – The Four Horsemen had production figures of the Queen and her court on display.  They turned out fantastic, and I’m not just saying that because this line is the Fantastic Exclusive this year.  Although I had toyed with waiting to get an entire set, they had Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra on sale, and couldn’t resist.  Look for a more in depth review of those when I get back from Comic-Con.

For more info on these ladies, check out our recap of Queen Alluxandra and her court.

Gothitropolis – This (mostly) Egyptian-themed line is shaping up.  The Four Horsemen revealed some of the variant heads a couple of weeks ago, and there were a few more on display at their section of the AFX booth.  Scarabus is still the only named figure at the present time.  I’m hoping one gets named Fwooshius.

Fans of anthropomorphs, have fun!

Four Horsemen Reveal Final Seventh Kingdom Figures – Baddathiir, Siliskk, and Raavia

Here’s the final three exclusive variants from this year’s 7th Kingdom exclusives.  With the the 7th Kingdom offerings in the past two years, the minotaurs and elephants, I’ve been selective about which figures to pick up.  This year I may have to go for the full set.  We’ll do a recap of all eleven figures sometime next week.

THE QUEEN AND HER COURT – PART 4

Over the past few days you’ve been introduced to an ever expanding group of warrior women from the Four Horsemen’s fan-favorite property – “7th Kingdom”. In today’s part four of “The Queen and Her Court”, you’ll meet the final three femme fatales which will make up the complete set of 11 figures to be offered through Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) at a later date.

Each of the following figures will each be carried and sold through a different online retailer, toy news website, or action figure magazine.

The first of the final three is one of the darkest denizens of the 7th Kingdom – Baddathiir. Baddathiir will be the second of two exclusive variants carried by online toy retailer Big Bad Toy Store (http://www.BigBadToyStore.com) .

Number two on our list today is the slithering soldier mutant – Siliskk. The Four Horsemen’s very own online retail outlet, Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) will be the only place to pick up this very limited figure. Siliskk will be sold for $20.00 each and will not be available at Comic Con!

The last but certainly not least of the exclusive variants to be revealed will be offered through online toy news website, Raving Toy Maniac (http://www.ToyMania.com). She’s the crimson cat of the 7th Kingdom – Raavia.

All three of these warrior women will each wield a deadly spear, and a razor sharp small sword. The price of each figure will be determined by each individual retailer at in the near future. At a later date, all three of these figures as well as the eight previously introduced figures will also be available in a complete set only through Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com) .
