This time of year we’re usually so busy gearing up for San Diego Comic-Con that we tend to overlook Wizard World Philly, which is this weekend, Friday, June 19 – Sunday, June 21. The Four Horseman, who have their hands in many of the top action figure lines, will be present and have sent along a list of their activities at the show.
If you’re in the neighborhood and haven’t seen the work the Horsemen do before an action figure goes into mass production, you’ll be in for a treat.
In the third installment of the Four Horsemen’s 7th Kingdom reveals, we’ve got three more figures. Some more very cool color variations for the cats. We’ll wrap this up tomorrow with the final three!
THE QUEEN AND HER COURT – PART 3
The past couple of days of “The Queen and Her Court”, have introduced you to a few of the warrior women from the Four Horsemens’ fan-favorite property, “7th Kingdom”. Today will be no different as we bring to you three more fatal female furies.
Each of today’s offerings will be made available through a different online retailer, toy news website, or action figure magazine.
First up we have the Bengal beauty to be offered through various Wizard Magazine: Wizard World conventions (http://www.WizardWorld.com) later this year – D’zwirra.
Next we have the steel siren – Ccora. Ccora will be carried by online toy retailer, Corner Store Comics (http://www.CornerStoreComics.com), and like all of the other exclusive variants, will be extremely limited.
Our final lady for today wields the coldest claws of any of the feline warrior women – Oktobria. Not only will Oktobria be offered through October Toys’ (http://www.OctoberToys.com) own website, but October Toys will also have her for sale at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.
All three of these warrior women will each wield a deadly spear, and a razor sharp small sword. The price of each figure will be determined by each individual retailer in the near future. At a later date, all three of these figures as well as the five previously introduced figures will also be available in a complete set along with all of the other yet-to-be-revealed exclusive variants only through Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com).
Be sure to check back tomorrow when we’ll introduce the final three femme fatales of the 7th Kingdom!
In the second installment of the Four Horsemen’s 7th Kingdom reveals, we’ve got three more figures. I’m somewhat partial to The Fwoosh’s offering – I helped choose it!
THE QUEEN AND HER COURT – PART 2
Yesterday, in part 1 of “The Queen and Her Court”, you were introduced to Queen Alluxandra of the Bluddmane Clan and Isadorra of the Ironspynne Clan, the first pair new of figures from the Four Horsemens’ fan-favorite property, “7th Kingdom”.
Today you’re going to be introduced to three more feminine denizens of the 7th Kingdom, each to be offered through a different online retailer, toy news website, or action figure magazines.
First up is the blue hued feline warrior – Akkuli. Akkuli will be available through Action Figure Xpress (http://www.ShopAFX.com), and if she lasts long enough, will also be available at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.
Second is the gleaming elemental – Kromius. Available through The Fwoosh (http://www.TheFwoosh.com), the extremely limited Kromius will go fast.
Last up for today is the first of two exclusives to be carried by Big Bad Toy Store (http://www.BigBadToyStore.com), the fair-furred feline fighter – Biggara.
All three of these warrior women will each wield a deadly spear, and a razor sharp small sword. The price of each figure will be determined by each individual retailer at in the near future. At a later date, all three of these figures as well as Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra will also be available in a complete set along with all of the other yet-to-be-revealed exclusive variants only through Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com).
Be sure to check back tomorrow when we’ll introduce the next three warrior women of the 7th Kingdom!
The Four Horsemen have released images and a write-up for their latest entries in their 7th Kingdom line of figures. I’m really looking forward to the rest of this week, when they’ll be revealing all of the different variants and the various online retailers and websites that are participating. While Alluxandra was on display at San Diego Comic-Con last year, I don’t think Isadorra had been widely shown before today, and I’m pretty impressed that they were really able to get two very distinct figures out of the same basic buck. Should be fun revealing the rest of the figures!
THE QUEEN AND HER COURT
Production of the Four Horsemen’s latest action figure offering from their property “7th Kingdom” is in full swing and are expected to ship from the factory early next week. “Queen Alluxandra of the Bluddmane Clan” is the main character in this latest wave of figures from the Horsemen and in keeping with Four Horsemen tradition, she won’t be arriving by herself.
As with previous Seventh Kingdom Releases (Xetheus and Ramathorr), a group of exclusive variants of the main character have been created and will be offered through various online retailers, toy news websites, and action figure magazines.
Over the next four days (including today) the Four Horsemen will release images of Queen Alluxandra and her variants, and will also reveal the name of each character and where that figure can be purchased.
On Friday some of these figures will go up for pre-order on some of the retailers’ websites, and next week you’ll have the opportunity to pre-order the complete set of exclusives through the Four Horsemen’s own online retail outlet: Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com).
These first two figures are going to be available only through the Four Horsemen themselves: “Queen Alluxandra of the Bluddmane Clan” and “Isadorra of the Ironspynne Clan”.
Both figures will come with their respective scepters, and each will also wield a battle sword for when diplomacy just doesn’t do the trick. Queen Aluxandra will also carry a removable dagger.
Each figures will retail for $20.00 and both will be available from the Four Horsemen at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con and through Store Horsemen.
For a limited time only, you can pick up both the red mutant – Ssejjhhorr, and the green mutant – Grruxx action figures as a set of two for only $25.00!!
And if you order them soon, shipping is free within the continental U.S., no matter how many sets you order!!
Now’s your chance to get in there and start your own mutant army to take on Ramathorr, Xetheus and the soon to be released Queen Alluxandra!
Both Mutants are highly articulated and include dual battle axes! These are the unsigned versions.
GRRUXX (green): Most of these figures were part of the first round of figures that were produced by our old factory. This means that some of the figures’ joints may be loose and/or brittle and the packaging may be pretty beat up, but they may also be perfectly fine. Grruxx is a great figure for customizers or do-it-yourselfers! We can’t guarantee the quality of the joints, or packaging of any of the Grruxx figures, but at only $12.50 (when purchased as part of this 2 figure set), we can guarantee that you’ll get them at a great cost and NO SHIPPING CHARGES WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. For a limited time only!
SSEJJHHORR (red): These figures were returned to us by the vendor as “unsellable” because of damaged packaging. The figures came from the second production run of the Anitherian Nine, so the figures themselves should be fine. Ssejjhhorr is a great figure for customizers or package openers! Sure the packaging might look like crap, but at only $12.50 (when purchased as part of this 2 figure set), you’ll get them at a great cost and NO SHIPPING CHARGES WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. For a limited time only!
