Thanks to the good guys at OAFE for tweeting this, because I probably wouldn’t have seen it otherwise.
Although the write-up is a little ambiguous, there looks to be some articulation on this 1/6 scale “statue” of R2-D2. From the pics, it looks like the dome swivels, and all the panels on it can be closed – I am hoping that’s true of the panels on the body too. With all the attachments, this looks like a great piece for any Star Wars collector.

Art Asylum / Diamond Select Toys has updated their list of upcoming shipping dates. Hitting today are the re-releases of the Marvel Select Hulk and Iron Man figures.
I was surprised to see the Star Trek TOS Series 5 and Salt Vampire on the TBD list, because I thought those had already been scheduled.
Hasbro has shared some pictures of upcoming products across its boys toys lines – GI Joe, Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers. Not a lot in both Joes and Marvel aside from the Marvel Universe Vision – but Star Wars and Transformers have got a bunch to look at.
I’m generally not an advocate of the use of fan polls used for character selection but it seems to have worked with Star Wars – 20 out of 25 picks from the 2006 poll seems like a pretty impressive feat.
Now you’ve got 31 choices available – there’s one 2-pack in there. I wonder if Cliegg Lars is going to run away with it, with the offer of removable legs. Sorry – I totally didn’t mean to be so punny.
