Pop Culture Shock Reveals Street Fighter Sagat and ThunderCats Tygra Statues

Pop Culture Shock’s Jerry Macaluso sure has a way of making me want to plunk down a whole wad of cash on these statues from Street Fighter and ThunderCats. But as these are wayyyy out of my price range, all I can do is feel nostalgic about the heyday of SOTA’s Street Fighter action figure line and feel a bit letdown that Bandai’s ThunderCats line didn’t really deliver on the classics front, despite releasing Tygra (it missed the mark for me.)

Both of these statues are in 1/4 scale, and will be available through Sideshow Toys and specialty retailers.

SDCC 2012: Toynami Street Fighter Hello Kitty Mashup Plush Exclusive

Chun Li - Square Enix, Toynami, SOTA

Street Fighter Cammy – More Easy Photoshop Tips

Street-Fighter-Cammy

I’ve been gushing for some time about Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line (see the latest from Square Enix from San Diego Comic-Con), and after opening up Street Fighter Cammy felt compelled to take a quick and simple picture. Of course, you know what they say about best laid plans – this was not as quick and simple as I’d have liked, but I’m pleased with how this shot turned out after making some easy adjustments, despite not really doing any up front planning for it. In this article, I’ll explain a couple of things that I did to compose this shot in Photoshop.
