At first, 3A Toys was skipping New York Comic Con this year. Thanks to Legionnaire Dolly aka chillywilly153, the 3A Legion procured a booth at the Con. 3A then obliged by prepping an Isobelle Pascha variant as a con exclusive. I love the superhero nod – it’s got a Power Girl vibe to it, despite 3A having a Marvel license but not a DC Comics one. I’m sure this will be extremely difficult to get.

Maybe downloadable magazines are trending for action figures. 3A Toys has published the first of it’s Lookbooks – this one features the upcoming Team Fortress 2 Robot Heavy. It goes on sale on September 26 at 9PM EST – they recently revealed that they’d have a blue and red 2-pack for $400 ($40 off from if you bought both individually). You can download the Lookbook from 3A Toys.

Spurred on by the 3A Toys Mann vs Machine Robot Heavy, I set out to look for some NECA Team Fortress 2 Red team figures. While most of my usual online stores were spotty on inventory, I found the TF2 Red Heavy, Soldier, and Demo at Toys R Us. (They’ve got the Blue Demo and Pyro too.)

3A Toys published more details of its TF2 Robot Heavy pre-order for next week. I am thinking about getting a Blue Heavy and gathering a crew of NECA’s Team Fortress 2 Red team figures to take it down.
