LEGO Reveals LEGO Ideas TRON: Legacy Set Details

Fans of Disney’s sequel to its 1982 cult classic TRON film, TRON: Legacy, will soon be able to recreate infamous scenes from the box office hit with the LEGO Ideas TRON: Legacy set! Sam Flynn, Rinzler, Quorra, two Light Cycles and Identity Disks from the futuristic film all come to LEGO brick form March 31st.

Announced late last year, the set is based on a fan submission on the popular crowd-sourcing platform LEGO Ideas. Read on for the official product details and images.

Marvel Select, Marvel Minimates and More on Sale for Luke’s Toy Store’s 4th Anniversary

Time really does fly – I remember when Luke started his store, yet still I can’t quite believe that was four years ago. To celebrate the anniversary, Luke is running a great sale. For example:

Rainbow Road Diorama – $13 – I’ve always liked Luke’s Minimates dioramas, and these are an upgrade – the Rainbow Road would go great with the Thor Stormbreaker Minimates Set, also on sale for just $9

Tron Legacy Light Runner

More light-up goodness from the Spin Master Tron line!

Target has been marking down the Tron stuff as of late, so I finally picked up the Light Runner. Unlike the Light Cycle, this vehicle does not have sound features, however, its size more than makes up for that lack.

Hot Toys Ten Year Anniversary Expo

It’s the ten year anniversary of Hot Toys, and to celebrate they held a celebration event in Tokyo over the past couple of days, including having a few exclusives for sale. I would have loved to go, but did the next best thing – find pics of the event online!

In addition to having a bunch of figures on display, Hot Toys announced some brand new licenses for 2011:

Hot Toys Announces TRON: Legacy Kevin Flynn

Kevin Flynn joins his son (Sam Flynn and his Light Cycle were announced about two weeks ago) as the second Hot Toys figure from TRON: Legacy. I think the head sculpt needs to be tweaked a little bit. I do see Jeff Bridges in it, but I think the eyes are a little too close together and slope down too much. We’ll see if Hot Toys will adjust this ahead of release.
